One of the things Nigerians love to do is buy products that are made or sold in the USA and I guess it's probably because of the high quality normally associated with such made in USA products.

If you a Nigerian who is resident in the USA, it's definitely easier to just buy things online from several US stores and get the package delivered to your home or office but if you are resident in Nigeria, it is mostly hard or impossible to get your items delivered to you in a West African country that is far away from the USA. You can't really blame the US merchants because they prefer to sell to buyers within a region or country like the US where there is better legal protection for them who engage in geographic online trade which they may not get if they were to engage in international trade. Besides, countries like Nigeria don't normally have a good reputation when it comes to international trade but that doesn't mean honest online shoppers from Nigeria are totally banned from all US shopping websites.

One cool website I normally like buying things from is Amazon and this is because they seem to have the widest variety of products I've ever seen at a single online store. Most items being sold on Amazon come at a good price and also good quality.

Amazon doesn't offer direct shipping to Nigeria for most items they sell but they can deliver few things that are light and can be shipped through postal mail or a courier service and this includes things like DVDs, Books, CDs, T-shirts and others. However, if you wanted to buy good stuff from several US stores such as clothes, shoes, computer accessories, laptops, tablets and so on, you can't get the items delivered directly to you in Nigeria but with a US shipping service, you can still get it delivered to Nigeria indirectly.

What you will need
=============
- A Visa or Mastercard
- A US shipping service
- Internet connection

First get a US shipping service and they'll give you are US address to use when buying from US websites such as Amazon. Next identify the US website you want to buy things, add items you want to buy to your cart, checkout and pay with your Visa or Mastercard(Naira or Dollar) and then use your US address as the shipping address and when they receive it, they will then send it to you in Nigeria.

It takes about 3 to 14 days to get items shipped to your US address after your purchase and then takes about 3 to 5 working fays for it to get to Nigeria after it has been sent by DHL or Fedex. It is that easy.
