My Aliexpress order has shipped

I recently received an email from Aliexpress telling me that my order has been shipped and I felt a bit more confident. For international buyers who buy things online from Aliexpress, the 2nd email you are going to receive from Aliexpress after you placed an order and payment was successful is a shipment notice. It basically means that the seller has packaged and forwarded the items purchases to your registered address through your chosen delivery service.

The common delivery channel through which sellers forward packages on Aliexpress is the postal mail and when sending it from Hong Kong China, it normally passes through the China postal mail and the seller would also provide you with a tracking number you can use to verify that it has shipped. However, don't be in a rush to use it since it may take some days before reflecting online but that tracking number is what you will use to track your package until it arrives your country and in my own case that is in Nigeria.

I recently purchased 10 units of earpieces from Aliexpress at a really low price and the reason why I purchased that particular product was because I was already using it and know it's of a good quality.

The shipment notification normally comes attached with the unique order number indicating which specific order has been dispatched to you and how long you have to wait to receive it. If it's sent through a snail mail postal service which is the slowest, it can take as little as 15 days and as long as 45 to 60 days. The shipment notice would also tell you when your purchase or buyer protection period will end and you should open a dispute before it does else you can lose your money. The buyer protection period is normally shorter than the delivery period and to be on the safe side, you should raise a dispute before it does end.

Now that my Aliexpress order has been shipped and I'm able to confirm it independently on China postal mail tracking website. I will just have to wait for at least a month to get it but I'll keep tracking it's progress till it reaches Nigeria. When it does reach Nigeria, I'll be able to use the same tracking number on NIPOST tracking website to know when it reaches the post office closes to my local government area.
